All Leap into Dance Staff and Contractors have valid WWCC, Police checks, NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Covid-19 Infection control certificates. Appropriate Staff have First Aid & CPR.

Georgina became owner of Leap into Dance in July 2021. Lee is assisting the development of the program in an advisory role.
Georgina is a freelance contemporary dance artist with a Bachelors Degree in Performing and Screen Arts majoring in Contemporary Dance. She is also certified Pilates Instructor, in mat, reformer, pre/post natal and has completed her Certificate IV in Fitness.
Georgina, from New Zealand, started dancing at age 5 in ballet and later in Jazz, Contemporary and Flamenco. Contemporary quickly took the lead and lead her to full time training and her carer pathway. In Melbourne Georgina is a current dance industry professional working as the Co-Artistic Director for Liquidskin Dance Theatre while maintaining a freelance career.
Georgina began teaching with Creative Learning Centre in 2018 and with Lee and Dani has progress the classes to the Leap into Dance Program it is today.
Georgina looks forward to removing barriers so everyone can dance.

Lee is the advisor to Leap into Dance and Director of Creative Learning Centre and Senior Occupational Therapist.
Lee began teaching Creative Ballet and piano in her early teens and running a theatre group when she was 18. She went on to work as an Occupational Therapist in Supported Employment, an Assessment Centre, Schools and Private Practice. Throughout her working life she has continued to run dance classes and more recently drama classes. In 2020, Lee completed the Dance Teaching Skill Set through Ausdance Victoria.
Lee supervises the program and works closely with Georgina the Leap into Dance Teachers and Teacher Assistants to develop tools and resources to ensure participants are getting the most from the program. Lee can complete reports based on goal review meetings that are done twice a year. You can speak to Lee about NDIS and your plan.
Dani is our Yoga teacher, teaching online and in person classes for all of our age groups and support needs. Dani provides Teacher Assistance and on occasion will step into the Dance Teacher Role. With a sound knowledge of the NDIS and policies and procedures Dani provides administrative assistance to Georgina.
Dani has danced since she was a young child and in her younger days ran her own studio! Dani’s dance background is in Theatrical, Jazz and Tap dance
Dani has a Cert IV in Disability and is also a certified Yoga Teacher.
Kat previously lived in London, where she trained in Musical Theatre at Laine Theatre Arts. In her second year there, she achieved the dance teacher training award. After graduating, Kat continued to perform, while teaching dance and nannying in London. Finding joy on the yoga mat, Kat completed her yoga teacher training here in Australia.
Since moving to Melbourne, Kat has kept busy teaching dance and mindfulness, as well as choreographing and performing in musicals such as Urinetown and Little Women. Alongside this, Kat is completing her Bachelors Degree in Primary and Special Education. With a focus on inclusive education, Kat has been on placement in schools across North West Melbourne including Western Autistic, Broadmeadows Special Developmental School, and Sunshine Special Developmental School.
All of these experiences and passions have led her to this position at Leap into Dance. Kat loves being a part of this community, and is looking forward to seeing the dancers’ skills develop.
